Who We Are
We are Christians that assist local congregations of the Lord’s church in turning their disaster relief efforts into evangelism opportunities. These efforts open doors with individuals whose hearts are softened by what they have experienced. The follow-up efforts that we encourage establish relationships with survivors with the goal of converting them to Christ
What We Do
Crisis Evangelism does its work in three stages.
Preparations
- Identify a sound congregation doing disaster relief
- Deploy to their location bringing custom-designed supplies to identify the local church
Operations
- Help organize for evangelistic disaster relief
- Contact disaster survivors, pray with them, and ask if we can follow up so that they know we care
- Put a link on our website to the congregation for those who want to directly help them
Follow-Up
- Send handwritten cards
- Make phone calls and visits
- Supply the congregation with streamlined database information for continued follow-up

3. Follow Up
This is a critical step in turning benevolence into evangelism. We
emphasize and model this step with the congregation to encourage
them in their continued efforts with survivors.
